WORKS Partners with Mitsubishi to Campaign Lancer in SPEED World Challenge

Pilgrim Wins SPEED GT Season Finale, Pobst Takes Championship
Andy Pilgrim, of Boca Raton, Fla., took his second win of the season and secured the second Manufacturers' Championship for Cadillac at the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Finale, part of the Monterey Sports Car Championships at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Second place Randy Pobst, of Gainesville, Ga., took home the Drivers" Championship, while teammate Michael Galati, of Omsted, Ohio, finished third.

Cunningham Gets Monterey Win, Altenburg Captures First SPEED TC Championship
In a Championship-deciding race packed with action, Peter Cunningham, of Grafton, Wis., captured the win at the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Finale, part of the Monterey Sports Car Championships at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Acura swept the podium with Kuno Wittmer, of Montreal, Quebec,finishing second and Brandon Davis, of Denver, Colo., finishing third. Jeff Altenburg, of Ellicott City, Md., won his first World Challenge Drivers' Championship, finishing fourth.

Pobst Edges Cunningham For Monterey SPEED Touring Car Pole
Randy Pobst, of Gainesville, Ga., edged Peter Cunningham, of Grafton, Wis., for the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car pole for Sunday's Round 10 race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and edged closer to his teammate for the Drivers" Championship.

Pobst Goes Two-For-Two With SPEED GT Pole in Monterey
Current Championship leader Randy Pobst, of Gainesville, Ga., captured the pole for Round Ten of the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Championship minutes after collecting the SCCA SPEED Touring Car Pole at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Andy Pilgrim, of Boca Raton, Fla., will start second.

Pilgrim Fastest in Practice for SCCA SPEED GT Finale
Andy Pilgrim, of Boca Raton, Fla., improved on his morning practice time to set the fastest practice lap of the day for Round Ten of the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship, part of the Monterey Sports Car Championships. Michael McCann, of North Canton, Ohio, and Michael Galati, of Olmstead, Ohio, were second and third quickest, respectively, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Herr's Morning Time Tops SPEED TC Practice in Monterey
Chip Herr, of Lititz, Pa., topped the time sheets Friday in practice for the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Championship season finale at the Monterey Sports Car Championships. Peter Cunningham, of Grafton, Wis., and Pierre Kleinubing, of Coconut Creek, Fla., led the afternoon session and were second and third fastest overall, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
