The GT3 version of the Gallardo will compete in largely unmodified form in the GT class of the Pirelli World Challenge, where it will face competition from a list of OEM's that includes Cadillac, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Aston Martin.
"Our 25th anniversary season in 2014 is shaping up to be the best year in the series' history," said Scott Bove, President and CEO, Pirelli World Challenge. "The drivers, teams and brands that will take to the track in 2014 starting with our first race at St. Petersburg this coming March 28-30th will make it a season not to be missed."

The Pirelli World Challenge 2014 25th anniversary season will consist of nine race weekends in the USA and Canada with 16 sprint races. The series races alongside IndyCar and NASCAR on most race weekends. Every race will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network and streamed live via www.world-challengetv.com. In 2013, more than 1 million fans attended Pirelli World Challenge races.
Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 GT3 proves its endurance capability in 2013
With over 100 cars sold, over 200 race victories and over 400 podium positions, the Reiter Gallardo GT3 is one of the most successful GT3 cars since the class was founded.
The endurance capability of the Reiter Gallardo GT3 racecar has now finally been demonstrated in 2013 with victory in the Dunlop 12h of Hungary in Budapest, the runner-up title in the Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race (12h of Merdeka) and the title in the 6h of Rome at Vallelunga and 7th place in the Gulf 12h of Abu Dhabi.
